Svoronata is a lovely village with traditional architecture. Surrounded by lush greenery and close to magnificent beaches, Svoronata is a calm and relaxing place for vacations. Although the village has developed in tourism over the last years and has many hotels and taverns, it still keeps its authenticity.
Only 8 km from Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, and 2 km from the airport, Svoronata is located almost in the centre of the island and provides a good base for excursions.
Very close to Svoronata is Ammes, a long sandy beach ideal for families. Avithos and Ai Helis are two other magnificent beaches in the region.
